The Beer
The Lobster Cave
Friday night we headed down to the Lobster Cave for dinner.
There we witnessed the most massive Seafood feast I've ever seen. The "Ferg Burger". 3 of them ordered one each. They slurped and sucked thier way through every last morsle of seafood.
The Ferg Burger
$99.00
Flame grilled half crayfish, skewered barbequed prawns, plump scallops wrapped in bacon, crumbed calamari, Cajun eye fillet medallions, whole grilled Moreton Bay bug
& whole barbequed scampi, served with sour dough infused bread, sweet chilli dipping sauce and a Greek salad.
Yes - they ate the lot.
With a chance to catch up with a few family and friends, it was a great way to start off what was going to be a huge weekend.
Stealing the Birthday Girl's thunder...
There was a Birthday Girl on the Friday night, so Muz just considered that a green flag to start the party a little earlier.
Somehow I didn't get a photo of the Birthday Girl that night though - so if you have one send it through to me!
So this is for me for not getting a photo of her!
A rare sweet moment! All together now.... "Awwwww"
Now everyone laugh and pretend that Muz said something funny!
Trust this rooni - you can peg it on him every time!

Luna Park
Yes it was freezing. Yes it was windy. And yes it even started to rain. But really - what did we expect at Luna Park in August?
M&M on the Mad Mouse!
M&M on the Mad Mouse!
Standing by. (And check out those awsome shoes!!)
Thanks everyone for braving the wind, with hair flying everywhere, snotty noses, and feeling queezy just at the look of the rides. Thanks to Miss J too who took the camera from me so we actually got some photos here!
Pizza
Me: "Hi, I'd like to order some Pizza for delivery"
Dominos: "Yes, how many?"
Me: "10 Please"
Dominos: ".........."
Pizza to the side
I can't even begin to explain this photo...
We stayed at the Griffin Oaks Suites on St Kilda rd - 3 appartments, 18 beds in total. It was an awsome idea though, I'm so glad we did it. A place to eat pizza and get changed after Luna Park and before we headed out again. And an even better place to crash at the end of it all.
Veludo
Lets get this party started!!! It was all happening at Veludo.
Thanks heaps to Mr M who played taxi for the first part of the night doing goodness knows how many trips down to Ackland St. The rest of us jumped in a couple of cabs and made our way down there.
Getting chatted up...
Aren't they the cutest?
Clearly deep in thought.... Long Island Iced Tea or another shooter?
Some hot chicky babes!
What is he licking off his finger?
Some randoms
I've been promised its not what it looks like!
A couple of shify fellas
Whispering sweet nothings?
Telling him how it is!

How NOT to look at the camera while taking a drink
I feel like Dancing!
Maccas
Does anyone remember Maccas? That was the best Maccas that I'd ever had!
On our way home, after finishing up on Veludo we all crawled into cabs. Did you know that cabs go through drive-thru? I didn't! It's opened up a whole new world for me!
I'm sure that we all suffered for it in the morning - but that Maccas was the best, it was just what we needed as we headed back to the hotel room.
No photos though.

Breakfast
We were all doing it a little tough come morning. There was a mad dash to get out of there in the first place. Then the sun was soooo bright.
Some people disapeared between Veludo and morning. Others faced a long drive or flight home.
Those of us who were remaining though headed down to The Banff on Fitzroy St for some breakfast. Coffee and eggs.... it was soooo goood! Also really great to be able to sit outside and defrost.
Biggest hashbrown ever?
